Come Experience Breakfast on the Farm – Norfolk County!
Bring the whole family for a fun and educational morning on the farm!
Start your day at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds with a farm-fresh breakfast and interactive exhibits celebrating local agriculture. Then, travel by bus to Apple Hill Lavender for a guided tour through the apple orchard and lavender fields, complete with hands-on activities and farm and food displays.
At Breakfast on the Farm, you’ll enjoy a delicious, farm-fresh breakfast and get a behind-the-scenes look at how food is grown and raised right here in Ontario. It’s a one-of-a-kind event where kids and adults alike can explore the exciting world of farming.
What can you do at Breakfast on the Farm?
- Get up close with farm animals – cows, sheep and more
- See extensive tractor and farm equipment displays
- Explore interactive games and exhibits about where your food comes from
- Meet and chat with local farmers and food producers

About the Norfolk County Agricultural Society
The Norfolk County Agricultural Society (NCAS) has been at the heart of the community since 1840. As a nonprofit organization, we exist to promote agriculture, celebrate rural traditions, and create meaningful experiences that connect people across Norfolk County and beyond.
Best known as the organizers of the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show and Eat & Drink Norfolk, NCAS is proud to host events that showcase the very best of our region — from homegrown food and live music to agricultural excellence and community spirit.
About Apple Hill Lavender
Nestled in beautiful Norfolk County, Apple Hill Lavender is situated on a historic, century-old family farm featuring rolling lavender fields set amidst a bountiful, third-generation apple orchard. Explore our apple orchard or stroll our lavender fields.
We are committed to the sustainability, health and wellness of our community and the environment. Our farm embraces environmental stewardship and worker welfare, and utilizes education and science to inform our growing and manufacturing practices.

There will be no parking at Apple Hill Lavender farm.
Buses:
- Free shuttles will be provided for transportation to and from the farm.
- All attendees must park at Norfolk County Fairgrounds.
- Tickets must be printed or downloaded to your smartphone.
- Shuttles will operate every 15 minutes taking attendees to the farm.
- Shuttles will be wheelchair accessible.
- The last shuttle back to the park & ride will leave the farm at 1:30 p.m.
Friendly Reminder for Event Attendees: Strollers/wagons
To help ensure a smooth and safe ride for everyone, we kindly ask that only strollers that can be folded are brought onto the school bus.
Foldable strollers make boarding and storage much easier and help keep the aisles clear for all passengers. If possible, please plan ahead and bring a compact, foldable option for your little ones.
