Farm & Food Care Ontario staff members are available to speak on a wide range of topics. Presentations and training workshops can be customized for your audience on a wide variety of topics. Each year the team speaks to a variety of audiences across Ontario and beyond.
Possible presentation topics include
Talking to Canadians about food and farming
- Understanding the urban/rural divide and the focus on the need to speak up about the agricultural industry.
Agriculture 101
- Customizable presentation to help company employees be better able to talk with clients and answer questions about the industry they work in (inc. hop topics, technology, and sustainability).
Social Media 101
- Overview of the main platforms, along with the dos and don’ts of engaging online.
Good Boothmanship

- Focus on branding, handouts, good layouts, staffing, and the do’s and don'ts of working in a tradeshow environment.

Speak Up Training
- Learn how to tell your farm story to a non-farming audience
Media Training: Basic
- A lecture-style presentation will give participants a basic understanding of the media, focusing on questions and answer techniques, the right of an interview and key message development
Media Training: Advanced
- An interactive session that gives participants the tools to prepare for an interview, as well as a camera interview experience
Livestock Emergency Training (Livestock Truck Rollover)

- This course, led by a large animal rescue expert, covers what to do in the event of a livestock truck rollover.
