Local Food Week, June 1-7, 2020, is a celebration of the bounty of fresh, healthy food grown, produced, and processed right here in Ontario. This year, Farm & Food Care Ontario (FFCO) will join AgScape and the Ontario Federation of Agriculture’s (OFA) Six by Sixteen initiative and other agri-food partners to celebrate Local Food Week here in Ontario.
Monday-Friday is jam-packed with Facebook Live farm tours and cooking demonstrations, educational activities, local food resources, and a week-long contest! Browse through the schedule below to find out what's happening!

Kids Corner - Local Food Week Activities
We are offering the public, parents and teachers a virtual agri-food experience for themselves and their youth/students. Each day will feature a scheduled day of activities related to local food including live cooking sessions, videos, Kahoot! Challenges, bingos, comic strips and much more!
Meet Our Host! Andrea Buckett
In the food business for over 20 years, Andrea’s extensive knowledge and kitchen expertise has given her the ability to convey current and practical information about cooking, entertaining and nutrition with ease. Her diversified career has run the gamut, including culinary instructor, caterer, cooking school manager, recipe developer and food writer.
Currently, on her platform Andrea Buckett Cooks, she inspires the appetites of Canadians and is regularly featured as a food expert on television, radio, in print and on the web. Her motto is to create easy recipes with dynamite flavour to help combat mealtime boredom.
